Marketing Cloud Next is not a new version of Marketing Cloud Engagement — it is a different foundation. Built on Salesforce core, with Data 360 as the data layer and Flow as the automation engine. That single architectural fact explains every difference you will notice, and most of the difficulty teams run into.
This is one of two platforms I work on. Not one of twelve.
Where teams usually need help
- Deciding whether to move at all — and being able to defend the answer to leadership.
- The data foundation, which turns out to be the project rather than the prerequisite.
- Translating what exists — AMPscript, CloudPages, relational data extensions — into something the new platform can express.
- Structuring it before building: data spaces, brands, permissions, segmentation.
- Making a first agentic use case real without betting a quarter on it.
Where to start, by situation
| If this is you | Start here | From |
|---|---|---|
| Not sure whether to move, or when | Migration Readiness Assessment | €5,900 |
| Not sure which product you even need | Product Clarity Workshop | €950 |
| Committed, but the data model is unclear | Data Foundation Sprint | €7,900 |
| Greenfield, need it running | Marketing Cloud Next Quickstart | €9,900 |
| Want one agentic use case live | Agentforce Journey Pilot | €7,900 |
| Campaigns take too long to produce | Template System | €3,900 |
The honest position
Most established estates with a working setup should not migrate this year. Most greenfield teams should not start on the older platform. And a meaningful share of “which platform should we buy” conversations are actually about lead quality, sales alignment or data hygiene — problems that follow you across any migration.
I will tell you which of those you are in on the first call, including when the answer is that you do not need me yet.
The question that decides most of it
Can a marketer in your organisation build a segment from unified customer data without asking an engineer? If yes, Marketing Cloud Next will pay off. If no — and you are not funding the work to make it true — it will reproduce your current problems on newer infrastructure.

How engagements work
Three rungs, each fixed scope and fixed price: a Quick Win from €2,900, a Project from €5,900, or an ongoing Partnership. You start small enough that being wrong is cheap, and you only climb if the last step paid off. No annual retainer at the entry point, no minimum term anywhere.
The person you meet on the call is the person who does the work. There is no account manager and no handoff to a junior after signing.
