Account Engagement is mature, genuinely well designed for B2B, and very easy to configure badly. Almost every org I audit is running a platform that works exactly as well as its setup allows — which is usually well below what it cost.
This is one of two platforms I work on. I do not sell you a migration off it.
The four things I find in nearly every audit
- Scoring on defaults, with no decay — so the highest scores belong to people who were curious last year.
- A sync error queue nobody monitors, quietly corrupting reporting and every handover to sales.
- Authentication half-finished, so deliverability erodes gradually and nobody can say when it started.
- Nurture programs with no success exit, still selling to people who already bought.
Where to start, by symptom
| What you are experiencing | Start here | From |
|---|---|---|
| “Sales says our MQLs are junk” | Lead Scoring Rebuild | €5,900 |
| “We have thousands of sync errors” | Sync Error Rescue | €2,900 |
| “Our emails started landing in spam” | Deliverability Tune-Up | €2,900 |
| “We’re not sure our DOI is compliant” | DOI & Consent Setup | €2,900 |
| “Our webinars aren’t connected to anything” | Webinar Integration | €2,900 |
| “We inherited this org and don’t trust it” | Platform Health Check | €2,900 |
| “Every campaign is built from scratch” | Template System | €3,900 |
| “We can’t prove marketing’s contribution” | Connected Campaigns & Attribution | €5,900 |
Not sure which? Run the free checklist first
The 12-point health checklist is the same list I work through at the start of every paid audit — published in full, not as a teaser. An afternoon with admin access tells you which of these you need. Most orgs fail four or five.
On the "Pardot is dying" question
You will hear this, sometimes from consultancies who also sell migrations to other platforms. The accurate position: no end-of-life has been announced, and Account Engagement continues to receive updates. What is true is that Salesforce’s visible platform investment is concentrated on the on-core direction.
Practically: it is a safe choice for the next few years and a weaker bet for the next ten. If your planning horizon is short, that is not a risk. If you are choosing a platform to live on for a decade, weight it — and read the comparison before anyone books you a demo.

How engagements work
Three rungs, each fixed scope and fixed price: a Quick Win from €2,900, a Project from €5,900, or an ongoing Partnership. Start with the smallest thing that would prove useful. If it works, take the next step. If it does not, you risked two weeks rather than a year.
The person you meet on the call is the person who does the work.
